As. here embodied my improved coin slot machine 14 for vending the sanitary toilet seat covers, in folded form, as designated by the reference numeral 17, comprises a case 19 or box, of any convenient suitable size, having sides, top and bottom, and a removable front cover 20, or door hin ed thereto as at 21, and provided with a loc 22. The

front cover 20 has a slot 23 to receive the coin required to operate my improved device when one of the sanitary toilet seat covers placed within is desired, and is also provided with an aperture over which a piece of glass 24, or any transparent material may be placed. The lever 25 is pivotally attached to the inside of the said frontcover 20,' as at 26, and has an u per extended portion 27, witl an enlarge extremity 28, the lever 25 has a lower extended .portion 29 with a flanged or lipped ex-K tremity 30, and is held against t e -front cover 2,0 by means of a bracket 31 attached to the front cover 20, and having an elongated aperture 32 to permit the lever 25 rotruding member 33 attac ed to the slidable block 34. It is understood that the, flanged extremit of the-lower extended ortion 29 lo the lever 25 will be engaged the protruding member 33 of the sl1dable b ock 34, when the slidable block assumes a bottom position, thatv is when` the supply of sanitary toi-let coin', it being understand that the enlarged extremity 28 will have marked, printed or otherwise lettered thereon the word Empty, or any similar designation,'and that a s rmg 35 is attached, at one extremity to the ower lextended lportion 29 of the lever 25, and has its ot side of the front cover 20, to swing member 27 so as to keep the slot open and the Em ty sign away lfrom aperture 24.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to protect by Letters Patent of the United States is as follows 1. In a device of the class described, the combination with a ratchet wheel moved a certain predetermined part of a revolution by the action of certain dispensing means, of a casing, a carriage pivotally attached thereto, a coin box attached to the carriage, the said coin box being formed with a bottom slot, a bracket hinged to the carriage, a roller on the said bracket, said roller being engageable with the said ratchet wheel, means for normally keeping the roller engaged with the ratchet wheel, the said bracket being formed with a slot coincidable with the slot of the-coin box, in a certain position only of the roller to the ratchet wheel, an extension member 'from the said carriage, a motor connected to operate the said dispensing means, and a switch for closing the circuit of the motor, and operated by the extension member when moved by a coin free extremit pressing against the bracket,

said bracket' eing formed with a slot coincidable with the slot of the coin box in a certain position only of the roller to the ratchet wheel, an extension memberv from the said carriage, a motor connected .to operate the said dlspensing means, and a switch for closing the circuit of the motor, and operated by the extension member when moved byl a coin falling into or from the coin box and pivoting the carriage.
