One of the objects of my invention is to make such a device out of one piece of material with no loose ends, all of the component portions being connected one tothe other, and which when in collapsed position is foldable entirely flat and maybe erected by a simple motion.

In the preferred form of construction the display support in its erected form is a four sided angular frame. two of the major surfaces thereof being scored from the apex of an angle to the base of the angle, the article supporting and tie element of the display support being folded or scored to the bottom major surface of the display support so that when the supporting and tie element folded in operative position, its score or fold lines are in opposition, relative to the folding angle, to the bottom major surface upon which it is developed.

Referring to Figs. 2 and l, the display support has a bottom 10, defined by fold lines forming an equilateral triangle, the bottom 10 serving to support the display support on a plane surface. The sides 11 and 12 are substantially right angle triangles foldably connected along their longer sides to the side fold lines of the bottom 10, the sides 11 and 12, when the display support is in erect position as in 1, converging towards each other and being joined together at their convergence at the apex of the bottom 10 in a line disposed vertically to the apex of the bottom 10 by the attaching extension or flap 18 foldably connected to the side 11. The display face generally denoted by 14, Fig. 1, in shape is an isosceles tri-' angle consisting of two triangular portions 15 and 16, foldably connected. along one of their sides to the hypothenuscs of the sides 11 and 12 and secured together on their other sides to form the display face by the attaching extension or flap 17 on the portion 15, Figs. 3 and 4:. The sides 11 and 12 when joined together at their point of convergence connect the bottom 16 and the display face 14; at the apexes of the bottom and the display face. The triangular portions 151 and 16 are provided near their bases with the transversecuts or slits 18 and 19. lhe dis play face 14, Fig. 1, has the fold line 20 ere tending from its apex to the mid point of its base, the fold line 20 being-provided by the fold line of the attaching flap 17 when the portions 15 and 16 are joined together to form the display face. The ledge and tie member generally denoted by 21, Fig. 1, consists of the support 22 and the ledge and tie 23. The support 22 is foldably connected along one of its sides to the base of the bot tom 10, Figs. 1 and 1, and the ledge and tie v 23 is foldably connected along one of its sides to the support 22, the ledge and tie'23 being provided on its opposite side with the look ing tabs 24 and 25 which are engageable n the cuts 18 and 19 when the support 1s m erect condition. The bottom 10 is provided with the fold line 26, Figs. 1 and 4t, extending from its apex to the mid point of its base and which is extended across the support 22 as 27, and. further extended across the ledge and tie 23, as 28, the fold lines 27 and 28 dividing the ledge and tie 23 and the support 22 respectively into two equal portions,
The blank, Fig. 4:, includes the mid portion 10 constituting the bottom section, of

equilateral triangular shape, defined on two of its sides by the scorings 29 and 30 and on its base by the scoring 31, and having foldably connected thereto by the scorings 29 and 30 the wing portions 32 and 33 and having foldably connected thereto by the scoring 31 the oblong portion 34, and haw ingthe before mentioned scoring 26 extending from the apex of the bottom to the mid point of its base. The wing portions 32 and 33 include the triangular side sections 11 and 12 and the triangular display face sections 15 and 16, the side section 11 being defined from the display face section 15 by the diagonal scoring 34 and the side section 12 being defined from the display face section 16 by the diagonal scoring 35, theside section 11 having on its base the attaching flap section 13 defined therefrom by the scoring 36'and the display face section having onone of its sides the attaching flap section 17 defined therefrom by the scoring before mentioned as extending from the apex of the display face 1a to the mid point of its base when the display support is in erect condition. The display face sections 15 and 16 have therein the transverse cuts 18 and 19 near their bases at one side of the sections. The oblong portion 3 1 includes the su :iport 22 and the ledge and tie 23, defined from each other by the scoring 37 and respectively divided into two equal portions by the scorings 27 and 28 in extension of the scoring 26, the ledge and tie 23 having on its free side the locking tabs 24 and 25..
To erect the display support from the blank, the side sections 11 and 12 are folded upwardly on their foldable connections to the bottom section 10 and are so secured together at their converging ends by the attaching flap 17; the display face sections 15 and 16 are folded downwardly and inwardly on their foldable connections to the side sections 11 and 12 and brought over the face section 10 and secured together by the attaching flap 17, the display face 1 1 thus formed lying over the bottom section 10 at an upward and rearward inclination; the support section 22 is folded upwardly on its foldable connection to the bottom section 10,
and the ledge and tie section 23 is folded downwardly on its foldable connection to the support section 22 and the locking tabs 24 and 25 are engaged in the cuts 18 and 19 of the display face.
To collapse the display support for con venience in shipping and storing, the locking tabs 24 and 25 are disengaged from the cuts 18 and 19, and the sides of the display support are brought together or compressed so that thedisplay face 14 is extended forwardly by bending on its fold line 20 and the bottom 10 is extended rearwardly by bending on its fold line 26 and the respective equal portions .of the support 22 and ledge and tie 23 are brought together by bending on the fold lines 27 and 28, so that the display support assumes the flat collapsed form shown in 5.
What I claim and desire to protect by Letters Patent is: i
1. In a display support formed by folding a blank, in combination, a triangular back for superposing the display support on a plane surface, triangular side walls each foldably conn ctcd along one of their sides to the back and supported thereby, an upwardly extending and rearwartly inclined triangular display face foldably connected along two of its sides to the si "es of the side walls opposite to their sides of connection to the back and supported by the side walls, the display face being free at its base, a supporting member foldably connected along one of its sides to the base of the back, and a ledge foldably connec 2d along one of its sides to the opposite ends of said supporting member and detachably engageable on its other side to the display face nca r the base of said face for supporting an article on the ledge at the inclination of and bearing against the display face.

A blank for forming a display support by folding the blank on scorings of the blank, said blank consisting of a triangular mid portion defined on the blank by scorings and constituting a bottom section, Wing portions connected to the triangular mid portion along the scoring at the sides of the mid portion and converging at one of their ends towards each other, and an ob: long portion connected to the mid portion along the scoring at the base of the mid portion, said wing portions each including a triangular side section and a triangular display face section defined fromeach other by a diagonalscoring, one of said wing portions having on one vof its ends means .for securing the side sections togetl'ier and ha ing means on one of its sides for securing the displaymface sections together, said oblong portion including a support section and a ledge and tie section defined therefrom by a scoring, the ledge and tie section. being provided .With means engageable with means appnrtenantto the display face sections for detachably securing theiledge and tie sec tion to the display face sections when said sections are secured together.

A blank for forming a display support by folding the blankon scorings of the blanln'said-blank consisting of a triangular mid portion defined on the blank by scorings and constituting a bottom section, said mid portion-having a scoring e:-;tending'fro1n the apex of the triangle tothe mid point of the base, Wing portions connected to the triangular mid portion along the scoring at the sides of the mid portion and converging at one of their ends towards each other, and an oblong portion connected. to l he ni id. portion along the scoring at the base of "the mid portion and having a scoring exten-z 1: across the oblong portion inthe line of on tension of said apexto base scoring of the mid portion, said wing portions each in cluding a triangular side section and a tri angular displayface section defined from each other by a diagonal scoring, one of said Wing portions having on one of its ends means for securing the side sections to gether and having means on oneof its sides and defined by a scoring extending longitudinally of the Wing portion for securing the displayface sections together, the last mentioned scoring constituting. a scoring extending frointhe apex to the mid point of the base of the display face when the display face sections are secured together, said. oblong portion including, a support section and a ledge and tie section defined therefrom by a scoring, the ledge and tie section being provided with means engageable with means;appurtenant to the display face sections for detachably' securing the ledge and tie section to the display face sections when said sections are secured together.

In a display support formed by folding, in combination, a base member having a broad flat surface superimposable on a plane surface for support thereby, Walls each connected at the edge'of one of its sides to a side of said flat surface, the side faces of said walls extending in a plane transversely to the plane of said flat surface, the edges of the sides of said Walls opposite to the edges thereof connected to said flat surface lying in aplane at an inclination to the plane of said flat surface, and a display face having a fiat surface connected at sides thereof to the last mentioned edges of said walls and lying in the inclined plane of the last mentioned edges.

In a display support formed by folding, in combination, a base member having a fiat surface triangular in outline and superimposable on a plane surface for support thereby, triangular walls each connected at the bottom edge of one of its sidesto a side of said flat surface, the side faces of said walls extending upwardly at an angle to the plane of said flat surface, the top edges of said walls lying in a plane at an inclination to the plane of said flat surface, and a display face having a flat surface connected at sides thereof to the top edges of said walls and lying in the inclined plane of said top edges.

In a display support formed by folding in combination, a base member having a flat surface superimposable on a plane surface for support thereby, walls each connected at the edge of one of its sides to a side of said flat surface, the side faces of said walls extending in a plane transversely to the plane of said flat surface, the edges of the sides of said walls opposite to the edges thereof connected to said flat surface lying in a plane at an inclination to the plane of said flat surface, a display face having a flat surface connected at sides thereof to the last mentioned edges of said walls and lying in the inclined plane of the last mentioned edges, and means connected to an end of the first mentioned flat surface "and foldably disposable on said display face transversely thereof for supporting an article on said means at the inclination of said display face.

In a display support formed by folding, in combination, a base member having a. flat surface triangular in "outline and superimposable on a plane surface for support thereby, triangular walls each connected at the bottom edge of one of its sides to a side of said flat surface, the side faces of said walls extending upwardly at an angle to the plane of said flat surface, the top edges of said walls lying in a plane at an inclination to the plane of said flat surface, a display face having a flat surface connected at sides thereof to the top edges of said walls and lying in the inclined plane of said top edges,
and means connected to the end of the first angle triangular walls each connected at the bottom edge of its shorter side to a side of said flat surface, the side faces of said walls extending upwardly at right angles to the plane. of said flat surface, the top edges of the hypot-henuses of said walls lying in a plane at an inclination to the plane of said flat surface, and a display face having a flat surface connected at side edges thereof to the top edges "of said Walls in the inclined plane of said top edges.
12. In a display support formed by folding in combination, a base member having a flat surface triangular in outline, right angle triangular walls each connected at the bottom edge of its shorter side to a side of said flat surface, the side faces of said walls extending upwardly at right angles to the plane of said flat surface, the top edges of the hypothenuses of said Walls lying in a plane at an inclination to the plane of said fiat surface, a display face having a flatsurface connected at sides edges thereof to the top edges of said walls in the inclined plane of said top edges, and means connected to the end of the first mentioned fiat surface and foldably disposable on said display face transversely thereof and interlockably engageable therewith for providing a ledge for supporting an article thereon in the inclined plane of said display face.
