As a modified form of fastener Figure 7 shows a device, 7, which may be out in ornamental form, as with one diagonal edge and projecting tabs, 7,, and which is folded so that its gummed surfaces face inwardly instead of outwardly. This type of fastener 15 also used with my improved album leaf by inserting it through one of the slits, 2, ,as shown in Figure 4-, and also in the lower'left hand corner of Figure 1 The gummed-surface of the fastener will, of course, adhere to the outer surface of the picture at its corner and may also besecured to the face of the sheet 1.,' The tabs, 7, may be tucked under the edges of the picture, as shown in Figure 1, or may be lapped over these edges, as shown in Figure 1 with the corner ofthe picture itself overlapping the diagonal edge of the fastener. Or, if preferred, the fastener may be cut in the-form shown in Figure 5 without any projecting tabs but merely having an oblique or diagonal edge giving an ornamental effect when the picture, 8, is secured to the leaf, 1, with the fastener overlapping the picture. If desired the fastener may be rendered less conspicuous by making it of transparent material such as celluloid so that the picture will show through it as indicated in Figure 5.

I claim 1. The combination of a mounting sheet formed with a. slit, a sheet to be mounted. and a fastener of sheet material, gummed on one surface and folded, engaged in the slit with its line of fold substantially co-incident therewith and with its gummed surface at one side of the fold secured to the sheet to be mounted.

2. In. the combination defined in claim 1, the portion of the fastener at the other side of its fold being presented through the slitat the other side of the mount for attachmen't to a second sheet to be mounted. I

3. In the combination defined in claim 1, the folded fastener being gummed only on one surface and set in the slit with its gummed surface facing outward away from the mount.

4. The combination of a mounting sheet formed with a plurality of slits, fasteners of sheet material each gummed on only one surface and folded and each engaged in one of the slits with its line of fold substantially co-incident therewith and with its gummed surface facing outward away from the mount, and a sheet to be mounted secured to the outwardly facing gummed surface of said fasteners and retained in positionby tgnz engagement of said fasteners and the s 1 s.

5. Inthe combination-defined inclaim 4, the slits in which said fasteners are engaged being disposed in line with a plurality of adjacent edges of the sheet to be mounted but leaving at least one edge of said sheet without such fasteners whereby the mounted sheet forms a pocket on the mount open at the unattached edge.

V 6. In the combination defined in claim 4, the sheet to be mounted being rectangular and the slits in which the fasteners are en gaged being disposed adjacent three edges thereof, whereby a fourthedge is left unattached to the mount to provide a pocket behindthe sheet which is mounted thereon.

7. The combination of a mounting sheet formed with a plurality of slits, fasteners of sheet material, each gummed on only one surface and folded, each engageclin one of the slits with its line of fold substantially co-incident'therewi'th and with its gummed areas at opposite sides of the fold, facing outwardly away from the opposite sides of the mounting sheet respectively, together with two sheets to be mounted, one secured to the gummed surfaces of the fasteners at one side of the mounting sheet and the other secured to the gummed surface presented at the other side of said sheet.

'8. In the combination defined in claim 7 said sheets to be mounted being rectangular and the slits engaged by the fasteners being all disposed adjacent three edges of said sheet, whereby a fourth edge of each sheet is left unattached to form a pocket.

9. The combination of a mounting sheet formed with a plurality of slits arranged in spaced relation to each other in parallel rows, :1 sheet to be mounted and a plurality of fasteners of-sheet material, each gummed on one-surface and folded, engaged in the slits with their lines of fold substantially coincident therewith and with their gummed surfaces secured to the sheet to be mounted.

10. The combination of a mounting sheet formed with a plurality of slits in parallel rows and additional slits perpendicular thereto, and fasteners of sheet material each gummed on one surface and folded, adapted for insertionin the slits, each with its line of fold substantially co-incident with a slitforpresentmga gummed surface at either side of the mounting sheet to secure a sheet to be mounted.

11. In combination with a mounting sheet formed with a. slit and a sheet to be mounted,

a. fastener in the form ofa strip of sheet materialwhosewidth is substantially equal to the length of the slit, said strip being gummed on one side and folded transversely between its ends whereby it may be entered m the slitwith its lateral edges checked by .1 the ends of the slit and with its line of fold substantially co-incident therewith, presentmg gummed surfaces at both sides of the mounting sheet forv attachment to a sheet to be mounted thereon.
