With vthese objects in view, the invention consists in the detail features off-construction and in the novel manner of combining or arranging thesame all of Whichwill be fully described hereinafter-and set forth in the appended claims. i Y

In carrying out my invention I employ four Wires A which are curved as shown at A to conform to the shape of the bulb B or C. The upper portion of .each Wire extends vertically upwardly, as shown at A2 and is then bent horizontally, as shown at A3 and this horizontal portion is given an obtuse angle bend A4, most clearly shown in Fig. 4.

The Wires A first have the bends A4t and A3 produced therein. The Wires are then projected through openings D in a bottom shell D and arranged With their ends overlapping, as most clearly shown in Figf4.

The upper shell E is then telescoped over the shell D and secured thereto, as most clearly shown in Fig. 3. rlhe central portion of the lower shell D is upset, as shown at D2 to receive the head F 2 of the threaded stud F. It Will thus be seen that I provide an eX- ceedingly simple, efficient and inexpensive construction of shade holder capable of carrying out all of the objects hereinbefore referred to.

I-Iaving thus described my invention, what I claim 1s: i

1. A shade holder comprising a plurality of bulb engaging Wires having their upper ends bent at an angle, a center to which the upper ends of said Wires are connected, said center comprising a pair of telescoping shells said Wires being arranged between said shells With their angled ends effecting an interlocking engagement one With the other, a threaded stud connected to said center, and a detachable supporting member arranged upon said center and stud, and a knob screwed upon said stud and securing said member upon said center and stud.
