This invention relates to a razor honing device, and has special reference to that class of d'evices adapted to be held in 'on'ehand while the razorblade'is manipulated in the device by the other hand. Y

My invention aims to provide such a de- 'vice, wherein opposed stones or sharpening instrument-alities form a guide for a razor blade thatmaybe oscillated to first engage one stone and-then Ianother as the. blade is moved back and forth in. the device; the relation of the stones" or sharpening instrumentalitiesbeingsuch asto insurea proper angle to the blade when shifted against the stones. My invention further aims to provide a novel mounting for razor honing instrumentalities by which such instrunientalities can be easily removed and renewed or dilierent kinds of honing instrumentalities sub V y be manipulated by the right hand, by first stituted therefor. The mounting is extreme ly simple in construction, easy to hold and of such size, with the honing stones therein, that it may conveniently form part 01 a shaving kit.
