LNGERIE-STRAP HOLDER.

This linvention relates to lingerie strap holders and more particularly to a device for securing the shoulder 'straps of lingerie to the overlying portion of the dress which is of such construction that it will not produce a bulge or hump on the apparely and thus cause an unsightly appearance and will, at the same time, firmly secure the shoulder strap against dislodgment.
l A further `and more specific object of the invention is to provide a-deviceof this character including a clasp fori receiving and holding the shoulder straps vand a pm' pivotally connected with this strap adapted to pin into theshoulder seam of the dress and thus hold the clasp and accordingly the straps against movement, this pin being directed transversely of the clasp so that it is much more readily engaged with or disengaged from the dress and is properly positioned for engagement in this seam, which provides t-he only possible anchorage point for the clasp. l

We claim l. In combination With a metallic strip formed to provide a clasp for receiving and holding the shoulder straps of undergarments, the material of the strip'being longitudinally slit at transversely aligned points lying intermediate the ends of the strip, the 9" metal `of the strip at opposite sides of said slits being oppositely deformed to thereby provide wan eye and a safety pin having anv arm vthereof direct/ed through said eye Q l l) and extends transversely of the clasp.
2.- In combination With a metallic strip formed to provide a clasp for receiving and holding the shoulder 'straps of undergan ments, the material of the strip being longitudinally slit at transversely aligned points lying intermediate the ends of the strip, the metal of the strip at opposite sides of seid slits being oppositely deformed to therebyprovde an eye and .a safety pin having `an arm thereof directed through said eye whereby the pin ispivotally connected with and exten-ds transversely of the olas the armof said pin directed through said Mesem eye lbearing the head of the 'safety pin whereby'the safety pin srendered memovable from the eye. f
