This invention relates to a folding camp stove and particularly to/a collapsible and extensible support adapted to support said stove and an oven used therewith. Said folding camp stoves are now used in very large numbers by tourists and campers and it is quite desirable on many occasions to have this stove supported at some distance lfrom the ground or floor, so that it is not necessary to bend over the same to such agreat"extent. It is often desirable to have an oven in connection with such a stove and when thestove is mounted on said support, ymeans should also be provided for supporting the oven, especially when it is disposed at the rear of the'stove casing.

It is an object of this invention therefore, to provide a very simple and efficient collapsible and extensible support for a folding camp stove. It is a further object of the invention to provide such a support which may be collapsed into very small space and be disposed on the casing of the'folding Y camp stove. It is still another object of the invention to provide such a collapsible support having means thereon for supporting an oven which means is also collapsible in close proximity to the colla sed support.

This and other objects an advanta es of the invention will be fully set forth 1n the following description, made in connection with the accom anying drawings in which like reference c aracters refer to the sameparts throughout the different views and in which Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the camp stove and oven supported onl the support. Each of the links 20 has secured thereto adjacent its top', a. clip 32 formed of a flat piece `of material having its upper portion substantially parallel to the side flange of the leg 20 or substantially parallel to the long side of said rectangle,`said clip being curved or bent at its bottom to form a substantially horizontal portion 32, the lower portion of said clip then engaging the flange of 'the leg 20 and being secured thereto in any suitable manner as by spot welding or riveting. The legs 2O at the-rear end have secured thereto by the pivot members 23 an arm 33, said arm extending along the outer and end side of the leg 20, said pivot 23 being disposed between the ends of the said arm. lfVhen it is desired to collapse the stove structure the same is lifted from the legs 20, the legs 5h are swung into the casing 5 and the stove placed in collapsed position as set forth in applicants prior patent, previously identified. The oven 14 is then placed in collapsed position as Set forth in applicants co-pending application above identified. The arms 33 are now swung out of engagement with the legs 21 and said armsv swung along side of the legs 20 in parallel relation thereto as shown in Figure 3. 22 and 23 and the pivot members 24 moving downward in the slots 20a. The links 25 and -26 also swing about their pivots 27, 28, 29 and 31 and the pivot members 30 move lengthwise in slots 201. The legs are thusocollapsed into elo:ely adjacent 4position as shown in Figure 3, the links 21, 25 and a 26 being folded into compact relation between the legs 20. vThe support is now in suiiiciently compact position to be placed within the casing 5 as shown in Figui-e2.

The entire stove is thus brought into very small space and is in compact condition for transportation as illustrated in said co-pending application.

From the above description it is seen'that rrpplicant has provided an `extremely simple camp ble and lextensible support for holding the stove and the oven used therewith. The parts of the supportare very few in number and extremely simple in construction and yet are quite rugged. The support can be almost instantaneously placed in collapsed or extended position and the stove can be easily has been amply demonstrated in actual practice and found to bevvery successful and efficient.

A collapsible and extensible stand adapted to support a folding camp stove and comprising four legs disposed substantially at the corners-of a rectangle and diverging slightly downwardly, a pair of links pivotally connected at their centers disposed at each end of said rectangle, said links being connected by pivots at their upper ends to said legs respectively and having means at their lower ends held in and sliding in slots in said legs, articulated links extending between said legs at the sides of said rectangle, an arm at each end of said rectangle pivoted adjacent one end to one 'of said legs by the pivot connecting one of said pairs of links to said' legs, saidjarrn being adapted to swing with its upper and long end extending away from said link and substantially in alinement with said link, said arm having a stop means at its yshorter and lower end adapted to engage said link tokhold said arm in extened position, said arm being swingable into position substantially parallel with the leg to which it is connected when said stand j is in collapsed position. 6. A support for a camp stove casing having in combination four le disposed at the corners of a rectangle, said egs being formed of angle bars with their angles disposed inwardly, pivoted links connecting said legs at each side of said rectangle, said legs each having a clip secured thereto adjacent its upper end having a substantially horizontal portion yadapted to support a leg of said casing and having a portion extending parallel to the flange of said angle bar at the'side of said rectangle, adapted to hold said leg from inward lateral movement. j

A4 collapsible and extensible stand adapted to support a folding cam stove, and comprising four legs dispose corners of a rectangle, said legseach having a pair of elongated slots adjacent their lower ends, pairs of links pivotally connected intermediate their ends and having their u -v per ends pivotally connected to said legs ailjacent the upper ends of the latter and about xed axes, said pairs of links extending respectively betweenthe legs at the ends of at the said rectangle and having means secured,vv thereto at their lower ends slidable in said slots and said legs, respectively, of two sets of links each comprising two pairs of links pivotally connected intermediate their ends,

A collapsible and extensible stand adapted to support a foldedocamp stove and comprising, four legs disposed at the corners of a rectangle, a pair of links at each end of said rectangle pvotally connected intermediate their ends and respectively connected to said legs at each end of said rectangle, .a plurality of pivotallyconnected collapsible links .disposed at each side of said rectangle, the ends of said latter links adjacent. the ends of said rectangle being pivotally connected respectively to said legs, the connection of all of said links adjacent one end of said legs being about fixed pivots and the connection adjacent the other end of said legs beingl about pivots slidable longitudinally' of said legs, said legs having means at their upper ends for supporting a camp stove, whereby said stand may be collapsed with said legs Aand links in Contact and substantially parallel relation.
