In these views, 1 indicates a portion of a tellers cage which is provided with the window 2'through which money is taken in and dispensed; Usually a burglar or bank robber will approach the window/and hold up the ofiicials through the window and will seize the money by reaching in through the window. In order to catch and -hold a robber when he attempts to secure the money I provide a part in the window which can be lowered so as to seize and hold the arm or hand of the burglar and thus prevent him from escaping with the money. Incarrying out my invention I place a cross piece 3 adjacent the center of the window to which the lower ends of the bars 4' of the window are attached.
