IMPROVEMENT IN IRONlNG-TABLES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. [60,236, dated February 23, 1875 application filed November 27, 1874.

Be it known that I, THOMAS E. ROLAND, of Burlington, State of Iowa, have invented an Improved Ironing-Board, of which the followin g is a specification:
The object of my invention is to produce an ironing-board of an agreeable height, combining therewith folding-supports, to permit of its being put in a small space.
In the accompanying drawing, Figure 1 represents a side elevation of my invention. Fig. 2 is a top view of the frame-work with the board removed. Fig. 3 shows the under side of the board with the frame-work folded up.
A is the ironing-board with the small end B projecting beyond the frame-work to facilitate the ironing of shirt-bosolns. The supports 0 D are connected by the frame-work F H,
- having swivel-joints K K K, to permit of its being folded. When. the board is set up the frame-Work is kept in position by the hooks L L and movable band I. The standard D is secured to the board by the hinge O. The
iron-holder E is secured to the standard D by a hinge. G is a brace, to support said ironholder when required for use.
I-claim as my invention The combination of the board A with the folding frame-work D F HU,l1ook L, and bands I, substantially as and for the purpose above described.
