PATENT OFFICE.
FRIEDRICH WILLE, OF WREMEN, GERMANY.
BALL GAME.
Application filed February 24, 1926, Serial No. 90,430, and in Germany December 4, 1925.
This invention relates to a ball-game, ii which an elastic weighted pendulum, operated by a pull-handle, is suspended on a gallows erected on one edge of a board.
Placed on the board are beacons the base plates of whichhave notches representing each a different value, other notches being arranged near the gallows.
An embodiment of the invention is shown,
by way of example, in the accompanying drawing in which Fig. 1 shows in a plan view and Fig. 2 is an end elevation.
In the edge a of the board 7) a gallows c or the like is erected on which an elastic weighted pendulum (Z is suspended. A pullhandle 6 is attached to the pendulum. Along and to the right and left of the gallows a guide-ledges f having notches g are arranged, said notches being marked with different values.
Erected upon the board 6 are beacons it or other structures in the base plates i of which notches g marked with different values, are arranged.
The object of the game is to throw a ball Z operated by the pendulum onto the board 6 in such a manner that the ball droes into the notch of highest value or that each player obtains the highest total by the number of throws allowed to him.
The rules of the game may be of any kind. For instance three pulls on the handle 6 are allowed to each player and the total of the values obtained counts. The player who has first obtained 500 points is the winner. The gallows serves as sight. The values allotted to the notches g and 7c depend on the (lit ficulties to get the ball. into said notches.
I claim 1- A ball game, comprising in combination a board, a gallows erected on the edge of said board, an elastic weighted pendulum suspended on said gallows, a pull-handle for operating said pendulum, beacons on said board, a base plate of each beacon having notches marked with different values, and a continuous ledge having notches marked with different values and extending along and to the right and left of said gallows said notches being designed to receive a ball thrown with the aid of said pendulum.
In testimony whereof I atlix my S gnature.
FRIEDRICH WILL-E.
