Referring first to Figurcs l3, the partition is shown as constructecl l:'rom sheet or c ast n1etal, preferably cast iron,;the partition being so macle that its opposite faces alte complementary to oncanother whereloy one -0f its faccs. 1 is adaptecl to cast the lemalc face of a block while its other face 2 is adaptccl to cast the male face of another block. The partition is so configuratecl that its longitudinal section is in the form of multiplies of its transvcrse section und in the sl1owing of the clrawings, the partition is twice as long as it is high und its longi tuclinal section is therelore equal to two transverse sections of tl1e partitions. That is to say, that portion of thc Partition to the left of the center line 3 in Figure 2 is iclentical With that portion of the partition to the right of saicl ccnter line, while euch is iclentical With the transverse section of the partition. In this is the unclerlying feature of the present invention.

In the preferr ed construction, the partition is twice as long as it is high, but if a longer block is desirecl, i; may oe macle 0f a lcngth three o1 1nore times its height by merely cluplicating its cross sectional shape in the fonnation of its linear section.
The accompanying clrawings show the invention in its preaferred form, but it is t0 be understoocl as fully commensurate with tl1e appendecl claims.
Having thus fully clesciibecl the invention, Whau 1 claim as neW ancl desire 150 secure by Letters Patent is:
l. A molcl artition, the length 0'f Wlli0ll is a multiple oi' its height anal the opposite faces o1 which paiui'ion are complementary to one another with a linear section of the partition a duplication of the transverse section thereof.
2. A molcl artition, the opposite faces of which are coi'nplemen'taiy male and female ancl tl1e longitudinal sectionof which is a duplication of its t1ansverse section, sail artition being twice as long as it is high.
3. A moicl artition substantially twice as long as it is high, one face of saicl artition being proviclecl with project-ing male portions and tl1e opposite face of the partition being proviclecl with c0n1plementary reenurant female portions, all of saicl portions being symmetrical ancl the longitudinal section of' the partition constituting a duplication cf the transverse section thereof.
