From the 'foregoing it will be seen that lf have provided a Wett detector ot the type mounted on a transferrer arm having a plunger retained in inoperative position by means ot a member which slides transversely et the axis ot the. plune'er and is positively raised relatively to the plunger as the trans- Lferrer arm descends on an indicating beat toward an exhausted bobbin, the latch being unaffected by lateral Contact with the detector when the latter has non-indicating' accidental movements when in contact with a substantially full bobbin.
Having thus described my invention it will be apparent that changes and modiiications may be made therein by those skilled in the art Without departing?, from the spirit and scope ot the invention, and l do not Wish to be limited to the details herein closed, but what l claim is:

2. ln a Wett detect-ing mechanism :tor a loom having a transterrer arm movable toward the Wett supply to be detected, a spring pressed member movable with respect to the arm7 a latch slidably mounted on the transi'fei'rer arm and having engagement With the member and moving in a path transverse to the path ot the member, and a detector movable at substantial exhaustion ot vvei't into engagement with the latch to cause relative sliding movement thereof with respect to the arm as the arm moves toward the wett supply to release the member.
ln a Wett detector for looms having a transterrer arm movable toivard the wett supply to be detected7 a plunger slidably mounted on the transterrer arm and tending to move to operative position, a latch slidably mounted on the transterrer arm and having engagement with the plunger to hold said plunger in inoperative position, said latch being mounted for movement in a direction transverse to the axis of the plunger. and a Wett detector movable at substantial Wett exhaustion into engagement With the latch to cause relative move-ment of the latter with respect to the plunger.
l. A Wett detector tor looms having a transterrer arm movable toward the supply to be detected, a pair of sliding members each normally spring pressed toward operative position, said members having holding engagement with each other so that one ot them when in operative position holds the other in inoperative position, and means operative at substantial Wett exhaustion to engage the sliding member normally in operative positioniand move the samerelatively to the other member to release said other member so that the same may move to operative position.
