There is, therefore, an intimate cooperation between the rigid integral column structure and the curved tension member.V
By the provision of thevvearing plate 21 embracing the bolster column, a large Wearing .surface isobtained. The bolster bearing plate is still guided on the bolster column and the increased Wearing surface between the bolsterv and columns will greatly prolong the life of both. The Wear `does not come directly on the bolster and if the plate 21 becomes greatly Worn,` a new plate can be substituted therefor with small expense.
From the above description it is seen that applicant has provided avery simple and improved st ructure ,of c 'ar truck. lt Will, of course, be understood, that various changes may be made in the form, details and arrangement ofthepa-rts yWithout de` parting. from the scope of' applicavnts .iniven` tion, which, generally stated, consists in a device capablerot carrying out the iobjects labove stated, such :as show-n and described and set forth inthe appended claims.
What is claimed is:
1. A truck structure comprising a side frame having in combination, spacedpbolster columns, a truck bolster' having its end ver tically movable between said columns, a `spring cap plate also movable between said columns andvertically moy/*able Wear plates disposed between ysaid bolster cndrandsaid columns, said vvear plates embracing said and said cap plate embracing said Wear plates, vsaid bolster yhaving sto-p pro j ections at its outer end adapted to engage' said Wear plates.
