Be it known that I, OSCAR ZERK, now by judicial change of name OscAn' ULYssns ZERK, a citizen of the Republic of Czechoslovakia, residing at Cleveland, in the counher which may be readily attached to a 16 grease or oil nipple for providing an effective temporary connection between the same and a source of supply.
When lubricant is. to be forced to a bearing by means of a connecting member and under pressure, it is desirable that a coupling means be provided which 'may be quickly applied and readily detached when desired, but which when in place will insure an absolutely tight connection, and it is one of the 26 objects of my invention to provide such a device.

This sleeve has a restricted portion 24, which'extends inward to contact with the members 20, while toward the end of this sleeve closest to the nipple there are formed two circumferentially extending notches 25, 26 on the interior of the sleeve. These notches are adapted to be engaged by the expanding spring 27, carried by the annular members 28 on the member 10.
