Be itA known that I, WILLIAM l?. CUM- wrixcs, citizen of the United States of lfmerica, and a re-sident of Long Island City, in the county of Queens and State of New York, have invented a new and Im.- proved Building Construction, of which the following is a description.
lt/Iy invention relates to the construction of cement walls and the general objectV of the invention is to provide a method of Vproducing a cement wall-utilizing pre-cast posts and run-in-placewalls between the posts.
A further important object of the invention is to provide a method of constructing cement walls, whereby the wall may be accurately built and done for the major portion by unskilled labor.
The nature of the invention, its distinguishing features and advantages will more clearly appear as the description proceeds.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings forming a part of this specification, it being understood that the drawingsuare merely illustrative of one example of the invention.
Figure 1 is a view partly in section and partly in elevation of a wall in the course of construction in accordance with my invention;

In carrying out my invention in practice a footing 10 of cement is laid and in the said footing small standards 11 are cast and project above the surface of the footing. The standards 11 are disposed in pairs and the pairs are spaced apart a distance to snugly receive between the pairs the precast cement posts 12. The posts 12 have transverse strips 13 molded therein flush with the opposite side faces of the posts and when the posts are in position said strips 13 are crossed by the standards 11 and said standards are then nailed to the strips to hold the posts 12ccentered. As is customary in cement 'wall construction the posts 12 have incorporated therein transverse rods 14 projecting slightly bevond the opposite side faces of the pests for the wiring thereto of reinforcing material indicated at 15 which thus extends. substantially from post to post and is anchored to the posts by the rods 14.
The precast cement posts 12 areformed with vertical series of transverse bolt holes 16 extending through the posts from front to rea-r. Said holes are adaptedv to receivebolts 17 for securing to the post'slymold boards 18 at opposite faces of the posts,
vwhereby said posts with the footing 10 complete the mold for the pouring of a run-inplace wall. 19 between each pair of posts 12, The. pouring of the run-in-place Walls 19 causes the same to firmly adhere to and unite with they footing 10 and pre-cast posts 12. The constructing of the -mold and the pouring of the walls, as well as the provision for positioning andcentering the posts 12 on the footing 1() to contribute to enabling my improved wallv to be formed by using unskilled labor to the maximum extent, skilled labor only being required for the positioning of the f posts, the positioning of the window frames, one of which is indicated at A, and
the securing of the bottom mold boards 418. The vwindow frames may readily and accurately be positioned with ny construction because they may lind support on the mold 'boards 18. Accuracy is insured simply by properly positioning the posts after which the erecting of the mold and the pouring of the walls make it practically impossible for an unskilled laborer to do otherwise than to properly mold a wall.
In Figure 4 I have shown in connection vwith the top-story and the posts for the seco-nd story, the same mode of centering the posts 112 by the centering` pairs of standards 1 11 corresponding with the standards 11 molded in the wall 19 at the top to extend above the same and spaced to accommodate the posts 112 for the second story, said posts having transverse strips 113 corresponding with the strips 13 and having transverse bolt holes 116 corresponding with the holes 16.
I would state in conclusion that while the illustrated example vconstitutes a practical embodiment of my invention, I do not limit myself strictly tothe exact details herein illustrated, since, manifestly, the same can be considerably varied without departure from the spirit of the invention as defined in the appended claims. claim: K Y y .1. In a method of. cement wall construction; forming separate pre-cast posts with vertical series of transverse bolt holes therein, erecting said posts in positions spaced from one another, securing mold boards to said posts by passing bolts through said mold board and said bolt holes, and running cement between said mold boards and extending from the one post to the next post and in intimate contact with said posts.
2. in a method ot' cement wall construetion; laying a wall footing, erecting on said foot-ing pre-cast; posts having Vertical series of transverse holes therein, securing mold boards to the 'liront and back of said precast posts by passing Yfasteners through said mold boards and said holes, and pouring cement to Yform walls between said boards and extending from post to post in union with said posts.
3. In a method of cement wall construction; laying a footing, and incorporating therein standards rising above the footing, positioning pre-east posts adjacent to said standards, fastening said posts to said standards, aixing mold boards directly to said posts at the back and front, and pouring cement t0 form a wall between said boards and into intimate union with said pre-cast posts.

In a method ot cement wall construction; laying a footing and incorporating therein standards rising above the. footing and disposed in pairs spaced to snugly accommodate posts between the standards of eac-h pair, positioning pre-east posts between the standards of each pair and fastening said posts to said standards, afHXinn; mold boards directly to said posts at the front and back, and pouring cement to form a wall between said boards and into intimate union with said pre-cast posts and said footing.
