An oil fount, for lubricating oil, 35 is mounted above the horizontal plane of the bearing 34 and a feed pipe 36 leads from said fount to the interior of said bearing and provides lubrication for the shaft 29 therein. An overflow pipe 37 leads from the interior of the bearing 34 to the interior of the ste'adying bearing 21 and utilizes the overflow of oil from the upper bearing to provide lubrication for the lower end of the armature shaft 18 and the step ball 19 insaid'loWer bearing. An electric condue tor 38, under control of a rheostat 39, provides current for operation of the motor.
