The object of iny invention is to produce an ear clip that can be used in combination with eye glasses, :tor attaching saine to the ear of the wearer.

VAnother object is to produce an ear clip that can be attached to the retaining bows o1 the olasses, and that will hook into the 4iront told of the ear of the `wearerg near 4the top of the ear7 tor holding the glasses in place, instead of the long;` bows that pass over and behind the ear as is now in coniinon use.

Mfr further object is to provice an ear clip that is simple in construction, easily Y attached to the ear ot the wearer, eiiicient in its nurpose and can be manufactured at a low lcost.

The clip lis made of a flat bar, either h ot metal or Celluloid, formed into a hooked end -a-, having a curved side arm extending from one side ot' the hook. The exact tol-1n or enrres oli the hooks on my ear clip may bc varied, but my invention relates to any hooked clip attached to eye glasses which engage the front fold in the top section of the ear of' the wearer, having` means for retaining the said hook Within the told of the ear. rlhe ear clip may also be formed with a small hole gin the end ot the stein for attaching the guard chain *G therein. to be used instead of the ordinary bow `tor retaining; the eye-glasses in place, the bow -5- being omitted if the chain is used.
