Be it known that I, WALTER P. FRIsoH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Stencils, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a stenciling apparatus, and has for its object to provide an apparatus `of such class, in a manner asy hereinafter set forth, with means to provide a stationary track adapted to be secured to the articles to be stenciled and constituting a combined support and guide for the stencil plate and dauber of the apparatus and further constituting a support for the ink pad or pot of the apparatus, whereby the dauber, stencil plate `and inking pad are connected together to prevent misplacing thereof, and further connected together, so that they will be in convenient reach of the operator during the stenciling operation, and furthermore enabling the stencil plate, dauber and inking pad to be shifted in associated relation with respect to each other.

Further objects of the'` invention are to provide a stenciling apparatus which is comparatively simple in its construction, strong, durable, efcient and convenient-in -its use, readily set up with respect to the articleto be steneiled, and comparatively,inexpensive. With theforegoing and other. Referring` to the drawings in detail, a stenciling apparatus in accordance with this invention, includes atrack element, a dauber 75 element, a dauberinking element and a stencil element. Y
'As illustrated in Figs. 1 to 6, both inclusive, the device consists of a pair of track members, 1, 2, which -are arranged in 80 spaced relation with respect to each other, as well as in parallelism, and the said mem! bers 1, 2, are connected intermediate their ends by coupling bars 3. A stenciling apparatus, comprising a track, means for maintaining said track stationary on the article to be stenciled, an adjustable stenciling element shiitably mounted on the track, an adjustable dauber element mounted on the stenciling element and shiftable therewith, an adjustable dauber inking element shiftably mounted on the track, and said dauber element including a pivoted stem provided with a dauber.

A stenciling apparatus, comprising a track, means for maintaining said track stationary on the article to be stenciled, an adjustable stenciling element shiftably mounted on the track, a dauber element adjustably mounted on the stenciling element and shii'table therewith, said stenciling element including a flat annulus provided with letters and digits, an adjustable dauber inking element shiiitably mounted on said track, and said dauber element including a pivoted stern provided with a dauber.
5. A stenciling apparatus, comprising a stenciling element, a dauber element carried thereby, a dauber inking element, and a track for connecting said elements together and upon which said elements are shifted.
6. A stenciling apparatus, comprising a stenciling element, a dauber element carried thereby and shiftable relatively thereto, and a track carrying said stenciling element and upon which said element is shifted lengthwise thereof.
7 A stenciling apparatus, comprising a revoluble stenciling element, a track, a support for said element shitable on said track,

A stencilng apparatus, comprising a revoluble stenciling element, a track, a support for said element shiftable on said track, a revoluble dauber element carried by the stencil element, shiftable therewith and revoluble relatively thereto, and an adjustable dauber inking element shiftably mounted on said track, said dauber inking element including a shiftable inking pad capable of being positioned in the path of the dauber element to ink the latter.
