'IMPROVEMET IN LAWN-SPRINKLER SUPPORTERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N0. 151,704, dated June 9, 1874; application filed April '22, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:

at the other with tubular screws, C D, of different diameters, and at one side with a coupling branch or induct, E, all being as shown in the said drawings. rlhe chamber a of the case A opens through the screws C D, and also through the branch E, the lat-ter being provided with a female screw, b.
On screwing upon either of the screws a rose or a jet-pipe, and coupling a hose with the branch E, and driving the spur or point B into the earth, such point may be made to support the rose or jet-pipe in a vertical or an inclined position while water may be flowing into the case A, and from thence into and through the jet-pipe or rose.
For gardeners and others the combined jetpipe and hose-supporter will be found to be very useful.
I do not claim a lawn-sprinkler as represented and described in J. E. J oyensons application, filed July 1, 1869, such having no series of coupling-screws at its upper part,
whereby jets or roses of different sizes may be applied to it.
l claim- The improved jet-pipe supporter, provided with the two screws C D, combined and arranged as shown, with its hollow ease A, provided with the coupling branch or induct E and the point B, all being as specified.
