IMPROVEMENT IN BABY-JUMPERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 150,825, dated May 12, 1874 application iled March 16, 1874.
To all 'whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Maj. ROBERT W. CALD- WELL, vof Zanesville, in the county of Muskingum and in the State of Ohio, have i11- vented certain new and useful Improvements in Vertical Cradles; and do hereby declare that the followingis a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon, making a part of this specication.
The nature of my invention consists in the construction and arrangement of a vertical cradle, as will be hereinafter more fully set forth.
In order to enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to make and use the same, I Will now proceed to describe its .construction and operation, referring to the annexed drawing, in Which- Figure 1 is a side elevation of my invention, and Fig. 2 is a plan View of the base thereof.
A represents the base of my vertical cradle, made in the form of a cross, and provided in the center with a short vertical standard, B. Havingthus fully described my invention, What I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
1. The combination, With the base A and forked standard B, ofthe oscillating bar G and springs D D, substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth.l
2. The crib E, provided With the loops t a., and adjusted upon the spring-bar G, substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth.
3. The combination of the base A, forked standard B, oscillating bar C, springs D D` and H, bar G, and adjustable crib E, all substantially as and for the purposes herein set forth.
