IMPROVEMENT IN BUTTONHYOLE CUTTERS.
-4 Speciication forming part of Letters Patent No. 150,422, (lated May 5, 1874; application led March 30, 1874.
To all whom fit may concern Be it known that I, J AMES R. LAMBERT, J r.,
of Indianapolis, Marion county, Indiana, have a top view of the device; Fig. 2, an end view of the same.
A case or sheath, c, slotted at b, contains a blade, c d, the end c of which is sharpened with a double edge for cutting button-holes. The other end, d, is provided with a serrated surface, like that of a file, for sharpening scissors. The binding-screwf, which is adapted to slide in the slot I), fastens the blade c d in any desired position. The plate g is a guide to assist the operator to hold the scissors to be sharpened in proper position. Ve is a ripper-hook, which is fastened to the side of the case or sheath c, as represented. All the various parts of the device to be as shown in lthe drawing.
