To all 'whom-it may concern: VBe it'known that I, NELLIE FonsMAN MANSURE, a citizen-of the United States,

- residing at Chicago, in the vcounty of Cook* 5 and State of Dlinois, have invented'a new and useful Improvement in Curtain-Rod Leaders, of which the `following is a specication.

v This invention relates particularly to a device which may be employed as a curtain- 'rod tip or thimble,*in` connection with curtain rods of different sizes, to` facilitate'the introduction 'of the curtain-rod into vlor through the loop of a curtain.

The primary object is to provide a simple use in connection with 'curtain-rods of diffe'rent sizes, for the purpose indicated.

The invention is illustrated 'in its prezoferred embodiment in the accompanying drawing in which-' Fig. 1 represents the improved 'curtain-V rod leader, partly in section and partly .in

The sections are of substantially cylindrical form, so as to aord a rm bearing 'or secure socket for the end of lthe curtain-rod, the advance end o'feach section being curved or tapered to facilitate the passage of the leader through of the curtain.-

In t e form illustrated, the device B is adapted for use in connection with curtain rods of three different sizes, as for instance, a quarter inch rod, a three-eighths inch rod,

An article of manufacture consisting of an integral shell comprising a small cylindrical t1p-end socket-section closed at its advance end,A an. intermediate cylindrical socket-section of larger diameter, and a rear end cylindrical socket-sectionof stillllarger diameter, eachof said sections tapering at its advance end and having 'the walls of its main o'rtion, substantially parallel.
