IMPROVEMENT IN MACHINERY FOR BURNISHING HEELS 0F BOOTS AND SHOES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 149,922, dated April 21, 1874; application filed February 14, 1874.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, OLIVER G. C-RITGHET, of Belfast, in the county of Waldo and State of Maine, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Steam-Heaters, of which the following is a specification:
' The invention will first be fully described, and then pointed out in the claim.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure l is a longitudinal vertical section of the apparatus. Fig. 2 is a cross-section of Fig. l, taken on the line a: a'.
Similar letters of reference indicate correspondin g parts.
The frame-work for supporting the chamber and head, and the fast and loose pulleys for revolving the chamber, and the journal-boxes in which the chamber runs, are represented in dottedlines in Fig. 1. g
A is the revolving chamber, into which steam from any convenient steam-generator is as new, and desire to secure by Letters Pat# ent- The combination, with stationary head C, having pipes B D, of the burnisher F and chamber A, revolving together in said head, as and for the purpose specified.
