citizen of the United States, and resident of Y Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Combination Sprinklers and Hose Carriers; and I doV self supporting at all times, and may be freely moved into position; to provide a device upon which the hose may be readily wound; and to provide a sprinkler and hose carrier which does not necessitate soiling of the operators hands in manipulating the device either before or after use.

Further objects are to provide a combined sprinkler and hose carrier of strong and rugged construction, which may be cheaply and readily produced and which will have a relatively long life.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1 is a side elevation of the apparatus showing it in connected position.

Figure 2 is a transverse sectional view thru the reel.

Figure 3 is a sectional view taken on the line 3-3 of Figure 1.

Figure 4 is a fragmentary detail of the construction of one of the corners of the apparatus. j

The device comprises n a framework formed of bottom longitudinal members 1, transverse bottom members V2, and four uprights 3. The uprights 3 are secured to the upper longitudinal members 4, and to the transverse upper members 5. A convenient way of forming thev joints betweenv the members is illustrated in Figure 4, from which it will be seen that the uprights are positioned against the longitudinal members with their flat faces in contact, and are secured in such position by means of bolts 6. The transverse members 5 are positioned with their flat faces in contact with the narrower faces of the longitudinal members, and are secured to the uprights by means of bolts 7. This provides a very strong construction by a castorand one which will not readily giveat the corners.
