This invention relates to a screw holding attachment for screw drivers and vthev object which may be readily applied to existing types of screw drivers in'such a manner that the screw can be held in'position tofcause` the blade ot the screw driver to engage the groove in the head ot thescrew. I

The attachment can be instantly applied and detached trointhe screw driver shank.
