After the core block 18 has been placed in position, gypsum or other plastic material is poured or cast into the mold to form the slab. To facilitate removal of the core block from the cast slab, after the latter has set sufficiently, the core block may be provided on its outer surface with a layer of grease or as preferred with a layer of paper 20, which may be in the shape of a box or envelope open at its top and bottom and of a size to fit the core block as shown in.
Figs. 2, 4 and 5. The box or envelope 20 is provided in its sides with slots 21 which register with the slot 19 in the core block.
When the plastic material has set sufficiently, the core block 18 is readily removed and the paper cover 20 remains in the open ing. The end slab thus made is laid upon the purlins 13, 14 and anchoring devices 22 are adjusted on the purlin 14 so as to enter the openings and engage the outer transverse reenforcing member 12,. which constitutes an anchoring member for the longitudinal reenforcing members 10. The anchoring devices 22 may and referably will be ma-deas herein shown an each consists of a metal member provided with a slot 23 to permit the metal member to be engaged with the flange 24 of the purlin and be erected thereon. The metal member 22 is provided with a finger or projection 25 which is designed to extend upwardly between the anchorin rod 12 and the inner end'ofthe'opening 1 as shown in Figs. 4

After the end slab a has been placed in .position on the purlins 13-14, the holes or openings 17 in the slab are filled with plastic material 26 to provide the end slab with a smooth unbroken ripper surface, as represented in'Fig. 1. he longitudinal reenforcing members 10 of the slabs in longitudinal alignment and supported by the intermediate purlins '13, may be connected together, as" represented in Fig. 1, to form a continuous longitudlnal reenforcement extended from end purlin to end purlin and anchored to the latter, while providing the end slabs with overhanging portions 16 which project beyond the end purlins. Claims:
1. In a building construction, in combination, an end purlin, an anchoring device erected upon said end purlin, a slab of plastic material supported by said purlin and having an opening into which said anchoringdevice projects, and provided with an anchoring member extended into said opening and cooperating with said anchoring device.
