VINCENT BROSSEAU, OF ST. SEBASTIAN, CANADA.
IMPROVEMENT IN THE MANUFACTURE OF IMITATION MEDlCATED WINES.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N0. 145,928, dated December 30, 1873; applhaion filed J nne 5, 1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, VINCENT BROSSEAU, of St. Sebastian, county and district of Iberville, Province of Quebec, Canada, have invented a certain Compound called Vin Anti-Dyspeptique et Fortifiant de Brosseau, (Brosseaus Anti-Dyspeptic and Strengthening Wine,) to be used in the treatment of dyspepsia and debility, of which the following is a specification:
To prepare the anti-dyspeptic and strengthening wine, take one gallon of the juice of the elderberry fruit; then add half a gallon of water, one ounce of ground ginger, and three pounds and a half of sugar. Wait three days for the fermentation; then put the compound in bottles. It is then ready for use.
I claim as my invention- A compound of elderberry juice, water, ginger, and sugar, substantially as and for the purpose specified.
