Application iled December l whichv will replace and he more eilicient than the plaster cast or the rigid splint formerly used. 1 lt is an especial ohjectot my iiivention,l to provide a device which will allow a change ot' the position ot' the atiected linih so as` to prevent stifleiiiiijjr ot' joints and muscles that have not heen injured. lt is also an especial object ot my invention `to Iprovide novel ineaiis for adj usting the device in a rotary direction relative to the limb so as to.\alllow the ends ot' the broken bone to be placed iii exact position tor reunion. and to provide a device Ywhich permits of the placing' of suitable packing` or padding,r lietween the frame and the broken limb. It is also an object of my invention to provide means for longitudinal adjustment ot the apparatus relative to the position of the patient. lt is alsol an object to provide the novel combination and arrangement olE parts liei'ein disclosed.
