Be it known that I, GUs'rAvUs Buss, a citizen of the Republic of Poland, residing at Scappoose, in the county of Columbia and State of Oregon, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in an Aeroplane, of which the following is a specification. The present invention relates to an aeroplane having for its principal object to provide an improved plane structure of Hat and curved sustaining wings, and the subject matter of this application has been divided from my co-pending application, bearing Ser. #483,226 filed July 8, 1921.

I The invention comprises an aeroplane body or boat 1 of long narrow construction and tapering toward the rear end as illustrated. At the front end is mounted a single blade propeller 2 which drives the machine with the aid of lifting plane supporting the boat on each side and adjacent the propeller end. These embodying a central plane or wing 3 arched longitudinally and disposed to extend lengthwise of the boat from which) it is spaced by sustaining brace rods 4. Projecting laterally from the central plane 3 on opposite sides are supporting biplanes having respectively, arched forward portions 5and 5 and straight or flat rear portions 6 and 6. The portions of each plane respectively constitute front cambered wings and fiat parachute or rear wings integrally connected as illustrated at 7 and 7 and disposedon the same straight line as the arch of the front wings, rising above rear wings as noted in Fig. 1. Central wing 3 `is arched more than the side wings and extends above the latter being provided with front and rear ins 8 and 9 of suitable formation; the length of the central wing corresponding to the width of the side plane connected thereto. The straight wing on each side plane is provided with a notch or cut out 10- and its outer edge and adjacent the rear outer corner of the preceding aeroplane in side curved wing, this arch constitutes an air passage between the members of each side plane and enlarging the lifting powers of the wings. At the outer rear corner of each end an elongated opening14. is formed. These openings vary in size, those of the parachute wings being larger than those of the front upper wings. Similar openings are provided in the empennagewhich comprises a vertical element 15 and horizontal wings 16, the openings 17 of the wings being elongated, while openings 18 of the rudder are circular.
The foregoing description and accompanying drawings have reference to what might be considered to be the approved or preferred form of my invention. I desire it to be understood, however, that I may make such changes in the construction, combination and arrangement of parts as may be found expedient and which fall within the scope of the appended claims.
Having thus fully described my invention what I claim is 1. An aeroplane including a central wing arched longitudinally, a cambered wing projecting laterally from each side of the central wing, a straight wing projecting later- 'ally of the central wing and behind each cambered wing, each straight wing .being relatively disposed on the same straight lines with the arch of the cambered wings extending above the plane of the straight wings, and a cambered wing below each first mentioned cambered wing and in spaced relation thereto. i

An aeroplane comprising a central wing, side planes projecting laterally from each side of the central wing, and respectively having a cambered forward wing and a straight flat rear wing, each straight wing having a notch or cut out at the outer corner adjacent the arched Wings, and a camhered wing;r located beneath each oambered wing of the side plane and. in vertically spaced relation thereto, said lower cambered wingsprojecting across the cut outs of the straight wings, said side and lower Wings having rear outer corners provided with ABIAIB the sides thereof.
