IMPROVEMENT IN MORDANTS FOR DVEING.
specificai ion founing part of Letters Patent No. 144,952, dated November 25, 1&73; application filed October 25, 1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, RICHARD O. BURGESS and SAMUEL LA B-HETT, of Providence, in the county of Providence and State of Rhode Island, have invented a new and valuable Improvement in Oolor-Mordants; and we do tions are preferred: Sodium chloride, sixteen parts; binoxalate of potash, one part.
These proportions give the best results, but they may be Varied as circumstances require.
What we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A color-mordant composed of the substances mixed together in about the proportions specified.
