We will now describe the cont-rolling valve for the water supply system. "The pipe 4 above described is in connection by means of pipes 5 and 6 with the city water mains or other source'of, pressure Water sup 13. A fluid controlling device comprising a. chamber having inlet and outlet ppsseges, a port in said chamber between said inlet and outlet passa' es, a hollow vuflve stem slidebly and snug y mounted in said port, a valve on said valve stem ada ted to close said port, an aperture in sai va lve stem adapted to connect the inlet side of solid pussage with the interior of the valve stem when the valve is open, a constricted open ing between the discharge dint of said hollow valve stem and sei outlet; passage whereby. the back 'pressure occesioned said constricted opening serves to ma ntain said valve in open tion.

A fluid contra ling device comprising a chamber hevin inlet'and outlet pessege's, a port in said c ember between sand inlet and outlet 'ppssages, a hcl lo v valve stem slidably mounted in said port, a valve on said valve stem adopted to close eaidport, an opening in seid valve stem permit the passage of water through the same when said valve is in open positlon, on enlargement upon the lover end or said hollow valve stem constricting the o'pemng between said valve stein'and t e walls of said chainber whereby the back pressure occasioned by said enlargement ects'upon and enlargement to 'n ia'intslin said valve in open posit-ion after the samehas'been opened.

In apparatus of the class described, a motor a circuit therefor, a, fluid supply system. a device for controlling the flo w of fluid in said fluid supply system. comprising; a chamber having inlet and oiitlet passages, =1 valve mounted in said chamber, circuits for 'opereting said valve, a. subordinate ch ambcr having a constricted outlet, :1 diapl rugm in'coinmuniction with said subordinate'chumber, and circuit controlling means operet'edfby said diaphragm, said circuit controlling means bein adapted to control the motor circuit and e circuits for operating said valve, means to energize the circuits for operating siiid vulva, and a refrigeratiu device operated by the motor.
