Having described my invention, I claim:

1. In a bed, the combination of a main section and sliding section, said main section having a head and a foot end, means on the head and the foot end for supporting the sliding section at one side, the sliding section having end rails and a side rail secured thereto at one side, the sliding section hav ing'legs hinged to the end rails at the other side, aside rail connecting said legs, and latch for each leg pivotally connected to the end rail and adapted to be wedged between the leg and side rail secured thereto.

'2. Ina bed, the combination of a main section and a sliding section, said main section comprising a head and a foot end, and

a bed-bottom detachably supported thereby, supporting rods extending from one post to the other of both head and foot ends, said bed-bottom having corner brackets supported by said rods, a rail carried by the rods, and means on the inner side ofthe sliding section for cooperatively engaging said rail for supporting the sliding section.

3. in a bed, the combination of a main section and sliding section, said main section comprising a head and a foot end, and a bedbottom detachably supported thereby, the bed-bottom being provided with end rails and side rails, a corner bracket connecting said rails, and a brace extending from said bracket vdiagonally to the side rails, supporting rods extending from one post to the other of both head and foot ends, the
