To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, OsoAn E. KoHL, a citizen of the United States, and resident of Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Cuff Fasteners, of which the following is a speoifi cation.

The present invention relates tocuff fasteners and more particularly to the type in which the connecting shank proceeds directly from the edges of the two heads, an object of this invention being to permit the making of one of the heads smaller than the other in the cuff fastener of the type mentioned, so that the fastener may be readily introduced into the cuff, while reducing the liability of loss by the smaller head working through the cuff fastener opening.

To this and other ends the invention consists of certain parts and combinations of parts, all of which will be hereinafter described, the novel features being pointed out in the appended claim.

Prior to this invention is has been suggested to make a cuff fastener from two heads connected by a shank which proceeds from the edges of the two heads so that'the fastener may be made from one blank of sheet material. This invention makes it possible to employ heads of different sizes connected by a shank proceeding from the edges of the heads without any danger of losing the cuff fastener.
