To all whom it may concern."
Be it known that T, GEORGE L. HOLLA D, a citizen of the United States, residing at St. Petersburg, in the county of Pinellas and State of Florida, have invented new and useful Improvements in Ice Conservers, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a refrigerator, the principal object of the invention being to provide means whereby the interior parts of the refrigerator including the lining may be easily and quickly removed and replaced for cleaning and other purposes.
Another object of the invention is to provide water containers on the outer'faces of the linings and to space the linings from the exterior casing so that air spaces are provided which act to insulate the interior of the refrigerator from the exterior and thus conserve the ice.
This invention also consists in certain other features of construction and in the combination and arrangement of the several parts to be hereinafter fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings and specifically pointed out in the appended claims.
In describing my invention in detail, reference will be had to the accompanying drawings wherein like characters denote like or corresponding parts throughout the sev eralviews, and in which: I

Figures 6, 7 and 8 are detail views.
In these views 1 indicates the casing of the refrigerator which is supported on the legs 2 and is provided with a door 3 and a removable top 4. This top is provided with a depending flange 5 for engaging the top of the casing. Vertical strips 6 are placed in the corners of the casing and cross strips 6 are placed in the upper part of the casing with their ends abutting the vertical strips. The lining sheets 7 rest against these strips so that said sheets are spaced from the inner walls of the casing to provide air spaces 8. Water containers 9 are suitably. connected. with the lining sheets and extend into said spaces. Each container is provided with a spout l0 by which the'container may be filled or emptied. An opposing pair \of sheets are fiat while the sheets of the other pair have theirlongitudinal edges bent inwardly to provideflanges 12 which engage the flatsheets and thus the four sheets are held in. position due to the friction exerted by the spring flanges. A binding frame 12 engages the upper ends of these sheets and acts to hold them in position. A post 13- is placed in each corner of the refrigerator and cross bars 1.4 engage the upper ends of said posts. I may provide notches in the upper ends with which the ends of the cross bars engage. Other cross bars 14 engage the intermediate portions of the post, one end of each of the cross bars 14 engaging a notch 15. formed in onepost and having its other end engaging a wedge shaped projection 16 on the opposite post. Thus these cross pieces 14" act to wedge the posts against the lining sheets. The cross pieces 14 also act to support the food trays 17. Trusses 18 are supported by the top cross pieces 14 and an ice tray 19 rests on said trusses. An ice container 20 is seated on saidtray and a drain pipe 21 is provided for draining the water from the tray through the bottom of the refrigerator. vided with a hook 23 at its upper end which is adapted to engage with an upper edge of the ice container so that the container 22 can be supported on one side of the ice container. This container 22 is provided with a spout 24 and a handle 25 and is adapted to contain drinking water. Openings 26 are formed in the lower part of the ice container and openings 26? are formed in the tray so that air can circulate from the ice container through the lower part of the refrigerator and through the space between the ice container and the lining sheets. The usual corrugated sheet 27 is placed on the tray atthe bottom of the ice container upon which the ice rests. Both the door 3 and the cover 4 are provided with air spacesand the cover 4 may be provided with an opening 28 which is closed by a door 29 so that access may be had to the water receptacle without removing the cover 4.
It will thus be seen that my improved refrigerator is thoroughly insulated by both air and water and that all the inner parts of the refrigerator can be removed for cleansing or repairing purposes.
