The present invention relates to clocks and more particularly to metal alarm clocks, and has tor its object to provide novel and improved means in a cloclr ol this character 'for holding the dial glass or crystal in place. V

It will be apparent that with this construction the curved crystal is firmly and securely held in place without use of a spac ing ring or dial mat; that themarginal portion of the crystal is well protected by the semi-cylindrical bead 20; that the hands and numbers on the dial are visible at a greater angle than is' possible where a llat crystal and spacing ring or dial mat is used; and that the crystal may be easily removed and replaced by merely loosening the screws' 7 and removing the shell a oli' the casing.
What I claim is:

in combination, a clock case, a dial7 means passing` through the wall of said casing for holding the dial in place within said casing, a curved crystal having its edge positioned against the diah said clock casing having its :front end extended beyond the edge ot the crystal and turned inwardly to form an integral bead having its edge engaging the margin of the crystal to cooperate with the dial to hold the crystal in place.
