Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 141,651, dated August l2, 1873 application filed August 19, 1871.
To all 'whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOSHUA LEGG, of Rushville, in the Vcounty of Yates and State of N ew York, have invented certain Improvements in Horseshoers Rest, of which the following is a specification:
My invention relates to the construction and application of a rest for horseshoers to place the foot of the horse upon while clinching the nails and rasping the hoof, and making the top of the rest so small that the sole ofthe horses foot may rest upon it and allow the shoer to use the ordinary clinching-iron all around the shoe without moving the horses foot.
