- a mounting for the gun and cradle having a circumferential guide concentric with the axis of the actuating pinion of the, elevating sector, a single member slidable on the circumferential guide having bearings for both cradle trunnions, and means for raising and lowering the single member on the circumferential guide to move simultaneously both trunnions to vary the elevation of the gun independently of the pinion and sector mechanism.
