IMPROVEMENT IN MEDICAL COMPOUNDS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 139,045, dated May 20, 1873; application filed August 9, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN OONZELMAN, of St. Louis, Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Medical Compounds, of which the following is a specification: v
I take one ounce of glycerine and mix it with six drams of concentrated lemon extract; add half a dram of oil of sassafras dissolved in two drams of alcohol. After shaking well, add half a dram of carbolic acid, five drops of n1uriatic acid, thirty drops tincture ledum palustre, and one scruple of pulverized citric acid.-
This mixture may be applied to the skin by mixing with lard, oil, or any other substance, or may be taken internally, the pro portions of the different parts being varied as may be found desirable.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
