To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CRANDALL R. HANEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Manson, in the county of Calhoun and State of Iowa, have invented new and useful Improvements in Cigarette-Holders, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a cigarette holder and has for its primary object the construction of a holder that will enable the user to more artistically hold a cigarette and besides prevent the fingers of the user from coming in contact with the cigarette.
An object of the invention is to provide an artistically constructed holder that may quickly clamp a cigarette.
With these and other objects in view the invention will be better understood from the following detailed description taken in connection with the accompanying drawing wherein- Figure 1 is a side elevation Fig. 2 is a front elevation. Fig. 3 is an enlarged view of the clamping of the holder.

Again referring to the drawing illustrat mg one construc'tlon of my invention the numeral l designates a clamping ring con-- sisting of a stationary portion 2 and a movable portion 3 which is pivoted to the sta tionary support as indicated at 4. The movable portion 3 is provided with an extension .'5 which cooperates with an arcuate leaf spring 6 and is sec ired to the stationary portion as indicated at 7. A finger piece 8 is formed on the movable portion 3 so that the latter maybe thrown in either of its two or artistically engraved and made of any suitable material and, therefore, I do not desire to be limited in any manner except as set forth in the claims hereunto appended.
Having thus described my invention what I claim is 1, A cigarette holder comprising a clamping ring consisting of two portions pivoted together, a rod connected thereto, and a finger ring connected to the rod.
2. A cigarette holder comprising a ring consisting of a stationary portion and a movable portion pivoted together,.a sprin for holding the movable portion in either 0 its two positions, a finger piece connected to the movable portion, a rod connected to the stationary portion, and a finger ring connected to the rod.
3. A cigarette holder comprising a clamping ringconsisting of two parts swingingly connected, and a finger rod extending from ORANDALL R. HANEY.
