Be it, known that 1, WILLIAM L. Bmss a citizen of the United States, residing at iagara Falls, in the county of Niagara and State of New York, have invented new and useful Improvements, in Construction of Electric Conductors, of which the following is a specification.

. An object of the present invention is to rovide a construction of the kind above reerred to which will be simple and cheap in construction while effectually preventing the creepage of liquid.

It will be obvious that the creepage of any moisture along the conductor 3 W111 be effectually prevented by the construction illustrated and described. N0 moisture can pass between the conductor 3 and the bellshaped member 5, inasmuch as said members are sealed together as above described. No moisture can pass between the bellshaped member 5 and the annular member 4 for the reason that said members are tightly sealed together. No moisture can pass between the annular member 4 and the wall 1, inasmuch as said members are in such intimate'contact as to prevent the ex1- amount of movement between the conductor 3 and the wall 1. This is particularly advantageous in storage battery construction, inasmuch as the weight of the members connected to the conductor 3 may be carried by other parts rather than by the wall 1, thereby saving breakage.
One embodiment of the resent invention has been described in detail. Many modifications will occur to those skilled in the art. It is intended in this patent to cover all such modifications that come within the scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims.
What I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-
1. In a storage battery cell, in combination, a cell cover, a' cell post extending through said cover, an annular ring embedded in said cover in such intimate contact therewith as to prevent the passage of electrolyte between said ring and said cover, and an imperforate, skirt-like, flexible member connecting said post to saidring, integrally united to said post and said ring, said asv member being joined to said ring along a said terminal,and a skirt-like flexible memline relatively distant from said post, Whereber integrally united to said terminal and by to permit appreciable relative movement to said anchor member. 10 between said post and said cover.
