adaptation of the invention three slides are provided, a lmain slide 23 and auxiliary slides 24- and 25, the latter being identical, except as to data thereon. T he main slide, Which is positioned between the auxiliary slides, is divided on each surface into a series of vertical columns 26 for Weight data, and a single column 27 for data indicating the length of the roll body. The columns 26 and 27 on the respective sides of l the main slide are for identical uses, except that the data on one side is for rolls Jup vto a certain diameter, as noted on the face wall of the casing, Whilethe data on the opposite side of the main slide is for rolls .above such diameter. A
The columns'27 are so positioned that the data thereon will be visible through the aperture 7 of the face of the casing, that is the' aperture for data indicating the length of the bodyof the roll. The data on the beginning columns 26 of the main slide are to be exposed through the roll-Weight indicating slot 12, in accordance with the position of the particular auxiliary slide, as Will be explained.
The auxiliary slides are in general duplicates, each being formed in the upper por` tion With a series of column-Wide progressively stepped apertures 28, adapted for suc- .cessive registry with the Weightindicating slot 12 of the casing, as the auxiliary slide is progressively adjusted to permit the appropriate data on the columns 26 of the main slide to be visible through such slot 12. The auxiliary slides are also each formed With a column-Wide elongated slot 29, adapted to at all times register with the aperture 7 of the casing, in order that the data of column 27 of the main slide may be visible through such 4aperture 7. The remaining columns 30 on the auxiliary slides are marked with appropriate data to register Withv the remaining apertures in the face Walls of the casing, as such auxiliary slide is adjusted. This data is of course arranged with particular reference' to the article and size indicated through the appropriate apertures, so that for any size noted throughthe appropriate apertures, the data of the re-k maining apertures Will properly correspond. In use, With the various slides in normal positions in the casing, no data will be visible through the apertures of the casing. As: suming that data relative to a roll having a diameter of eight (8) inches throuUh the body and a length of sixteen (16) inc es are required. The auxiliary slide of lower dimensions is first adjusted by longitudinal movement in the casing, as by thumb-piece 31, until the figure 8 appears in the aperture 6. that is the roll-diameter aperture, Whereupon the remaining apertures, except the aperture 7 and slot 12, will expose data on the adjusted slide giving the appropriate information indicated at each slide for this particular roll. The movement of the auxiliary slide has positioned one of the apertures 28 in registry With the slot 12, so that the main slide is exposed. The main slide is no.7 adjusted until the required body length of the roll, that is sixteen (16) inches appears in the -aperture 7. Following this adjustment, the Weight of the particular roll will appear in the slot 12, through the alined aperture 28 of the auxiliary slide, this dat-a being that on the columns 26 ofthe main slide.
'In the present instance` the chart is made up to simulate the article. for which it is designed to indicate, Weight and price, though this is an unessential detail of the present invention. g
The important feature of the invention is the provision, through the adjustment of but tivo slides, of all necessary data in connection with an article having certain predetermined characteristics, that is, inthe resent instance, a. roll of certain length an diameter of body. With the slides adjusted in accordance with these details, all other necessary manufacturing information relative to Weight and cost is automatically disclosed, and hence the time otherwise required to compute this data for each particular roll is saved.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new, is
1. A price and weight chart having a casing formed in opposed faces with apertures, a main slide within the casing and bearing distinctive groups of data, and auxiliary slides arranged within the casing on each side of the main slide, the auxiliary slides having data to be exposed through the casing apertures and being formed with apertures to cortrol the exposure ofthe data on the main sli e. n
2.v A price and weight chart for standard articles, comprising a casing having a slot marked to indicate the vweight of the article and having apertures marked to indicate the dimensions of the article, and slides operto register data to register with the Weight-indicating slot and wlth one of thedimension-indicating apertures, theother slide having data to register with other dimension-indicating apertures and formed to control the data of the first slide displayed through the Weightindicating slot. l

A price andv Weight chart, comprising a casing formed With a slot and aperturesa main slide operable within 4the casin and having'data to .register with one o said apertures and with the slot, and an auxiliary slide operable within the casing and having data to register with' the lremaining apertures, said auxiliary slide having apertures with the slot in any position of such slide to control the data of the main slide exposed through said slot.
4. A price and weight chart for rolls having a casing eating slot, roll-dimension indicating apertures, and price-detail indicating apertures,
of slides a justable within the casing and formed with a roll-Weight indibearing data to be exposed through the dimension-indicating apertures in accordance with the required dimensions of the article, said slides also bearing additional data to be exposed through the Weightindicating slot and price detail apertures in such casing.

A chart comprising a casing with defined a ertures to indicate distinct dimensions o an article and a indicate the Weight of the article, a slide having dimension-data to register with one of the dimension apertures of the casing and a series of different weight indications defined aperture to adapted to simultaneously register with the Weight-indicating aperture, and a second slide having dimension data to be registered With the remaining dimension aperture an formed with a slot Init the exposure of a single -one of the Weight indications of the first slide in registry with the Weight indicating aperture.
