IMPROVEMENT IN BLANK-BOOKS..
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 135,760, dated February 11,1873.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN C. BoNNnLL, of Burlington, in the county of Des Moines and State of Iowa, have invented an Improvement in Blank-Books, of which the following is a specification The invention consists in ablank-book which is adapted to many kinds of business, but is particularly intended for railroad agents. It has theadvantage of econoinizing paper, while it is peculiarly advantageous to agents in enabling them to see the state of any account at a glance.

A represents the space in which is entered the office at which the sale is made; C, the space in which is entered the name ofthe buyer; D, the space in which the form of coupon is stated; E, the space for through rate; F, the numeral Vdesignation of the coupon or coupons 5 G, the space in which is indicated the class to which they belong; and H, the space in which is placed the pecuniary aggregate to which the sale amounts. These together form a general space, K, that extends from top to bottom of page, and which is repeated nowhere else in the book. All the other parts of this folio and all the space on the other folios are for the name of company,
