lt will novv be apparent that I have devised a new and useful stencil card and method ot stenciling monograms which embodies the features of advantage enumerated asidesirable in the statement of the invention and the above description, and While l have, in the present instance, shown and described a preferred embodiment which Will give in practice satisfactory and reliable results, Yit is to be understood that such embodiment is susceptible of modification in various particulars Without departin;7 'from the spirit or scope of the invention or sacrificing any of its advantages.
Having thus described my inventiomvvhat .l claim as nenT and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
l. A stencil lcomprising a card having a plurality ot forms of the same letter of the alphabet thereon arranged in the form of a monogram. A stencil comprising a card having a plurality of forms of the same letter of the alphabet thereon arranged in t ie form of a letter varying in design in accordance with the order in which it is an ranged in the monogram.
3. The method ot stenciling With stencils each having a plurality of forms of the letter thereon arranged in the form of a monogram, which consists in progressively stenciling each letter of the monogram from ditl'erent stencil using the letter on each stencil corresponding to the position which such letter is to assume in the monogram.
4. A stencil for steneiling monograms, comprising a card having a plurality ot :forms oi. the same letter of the alphabet thereon arranged in the form of a monogram, said-card being whereby dilferent cards with different letters thereon can be brought into registration with the monogram Which is being made.
