Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 133,520, dated December 3, 1872.
To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, ALBERT D. (Jones, of the city of Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a Shoe for the Feet of Stoves, of which the following is a specification:
The invention relates to a device for preventing the feet of stoves from slipping out of place when by unevenness in their bearings one or more may be loose and liable to be is fixed a pin with a sharp point, that will pass through the carpet or oileloth to the floor without defacing or injuring them, and be at all times ready to be put in position without needing hammer or screw-driver to fasten them; therefore preferable to a nail or a screw. In the drawing, Figure 1 is a top view, and Fig. 2 a side view, of the shoe.

What I claim is- The stove-foot, herein shown and described, consistiu g of the base-plate c, the rim a on its sides and at one end, and the pin 12, all as set forth.
