r beeswax should first be melted together over a slow fireuntil thoroughly mixed. This mixture should then be allowed to cool slightly and then add thereto the liquids" such as the spirits of camphor, tincture of capsic and the oil of hemlock. The whole mass should then again be heated to insure a thorough mixture that will not separate and which remains perfectly ef fectual indetely. le in this heated condition the mass should constantl be kept in a state of agitation which shou dloe continued until coo The resultant salve is applied to the chest,

The application of the ointment should be at leastonce daily, thoroughly cleansing (it the surface over the diseased lung before another application.
