HIRsoH and y y HARRY Hinscrr, citizens of Russia, residing? at" i\lew York, in the county of New `York and State of New York, have invented new and useful Improvements 'inl Liquid-Dis-V neck ofthe bottle but is provided withl means whereby the contents of the bottle may 'be ejected in ldesired quantities therefrom. A' further object of the invention is to produce a bottle attachment including a hollow membercarryi'ng a tube that is adaptedv to be inserted in the'bottle through the neck thereof, the said memberl having means whereby to engage Ywith the neck of the bottle and having arranged therein a compressible element designed to be acted upon by a plunger whereby air will be forced into the bottle creating` pressure upon the surface of the liquid therein,cau'sing the same to rise through the tube and-flow through an outlet spout associated with the tube.
The invention includes the novel features of construction, combination and Yarrangement of parts hereinafter described and particularly dened in the appended claims.-
The drawings illustrate a satisfactory embodiment of the improvement as it now appears to us, but the nature of the invention renders the same susceptible to changes in the details of construction, all of such lchanges falling within the scope of the claims.

The metallicV casing 13, at a point diainetrically opposite the flared neck 14 thereof is providedV withv an annular opening that` is surrounded by anl outturnedl annular flange 17, and through this fopening, and guided by the flange 17 is a cylindrical plunger memberflS. If desired the plunger may be provided with graduations so that the inward pressure thereof maybe readily determined and consequently the quantity of liquid ejected from the bottle may be thus readily regulated. The device is particularly adaptable for employment in connection with bottles retained upon a counter as a desired quantity of liquid may be drawn or ejected therethrough without necessitating the handling or uncorking of the bottle.
In Fig. 3 of the drawings we have illustrated a slight modification, in which a cork member 20 is inserted directly into the mouth 21 of the bottle 22. The cork is provided with an angle passage 23 in the straight portion of which is arranged the upper end of a tube 24, and in the angle portion of which is arranged a discharge spout25.` In addition to the angle passage 28 the cork or stopper 20 is provided with a straight air passage 26. Thecork has itsV outer end formed with a continuous depression 27 receiving therein a bead 28 vo'rrne'd at the juncture of a neck 28 with a metallic approximately' spherical casing 29. The
rl`he operation is V similar to that previ- Mously described, it being understood that under normal conditions the contents of the l`bottle will be sealed to the outer air so that Athev improvement not only provides a means for ,ejecting the contents from. the bottle 35' but also serves as a sealing element for such contents.
Having thus described the invention, what is claimed asnew, is v 1j A Kbot'tle attachment for theY purpose I l described, comprising hollow metallic cas# 1ng having a neck portion designed to surround-the neckk of a'bottley a compressible bulb in said casing, a tube having a spout extending angularly through the casing and said tube designed to be received Ain `the bottleand a plunger movable Vthrough the Y casing and'contacting with thebulb.

A bottle attachment for the purpose described comprisinga hollow metallic casing removably connected to the mouth Yof a bottle, a tu'be carried bythe casing adapted toenter the? bottle through the neck'thereof, said-tube having an'angle portion providing a spoutfp'assing through one side of the casing, compressible Vmeans' for securing the tube to the casing, a diaphragm in the casing, and a plunger movable through the casing for operating said diaphragm.

A bottle attachment for thempurp'ose described, :comprising alhollow metallic casinghavlng a neck portion designed to surround the neck of a bottle7V a compressible bulb inthe casing having a neck extension Y received in the neck of the casingrand contacting withthe neck of the bottle, said bulb having an opening therein, a flangeY surrounding said opening and passing lthrough an opening 1n theside of the casing, aV tubehaving an` angle spoutV portion passing through said flange,V and a plunger movable through the outer end of the casing'andhav ing an inner flanged portion contacting with the bulb.
