This invention relates to annealing furneces and has more especial reference continuhus furnaces for annealing treating and the like.

By this process the in-going raw material conserves the heat from the out-going finished material, thatwould otherwise be lost were the train mi" finished 'niaterial run directly into the outside atmosphere and no regenerative hood used, thus the amount of heat necessary fOrthe'resisters within the heating furnace to supply, is greatly reduced, a large percentage of the heat carried out of the heating chamber by the finished -ing constructed of refractory and heat insulating material.
