IMPROVEMENT IN TOY-BEDSTEADS.
7 Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 128,249, dated J one 25, 1872.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, DANIEL M. REYNOLDS,
of Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a new and Improved Portable Toy-Bedstead and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing forming part of this specification, in which the figure is a side elevation of a bedstead with my improvement applied thereto.

In the accompanying drawing, A A represent the posts of a bedstead, and B the rails, provided with dovetailed tenons D. G represents a button in the position which it occupies when inserting the end of the rail into the mortise; and 0 represents the same when the tenon is secured within the mortise and said button is turned upon its pivot over the end of the rail, the tenon being shown by dotted lines.
In setting up a bedstead when constructed in accordance with my invention, the rails being brought into position the tenons are slid into the mortises, the buttons turned over the same, making a simple and cheap connection.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
