The body A of the device which may be chased or ornamented with stones if desired is positioned in front ofthe fabric which in' this case consists of two lingerie shoulder straps t. The member B is passed around the straps, and the projection s is snapped into the cavity in the back of the body.
The pendant member 9- is next manually drawn downwardly to make the loop formed by the chain B of the desired dimensions to accommodate the particular width of strap to which the device is applied.
I claim,-
1.-In a lingerie clasp, a body providedaxial center, a flexible member slidably engageable through said'openings with the body and an inwardly extendedmember between said openings over which said flexible member slides and is given frictional resistance, and a resilient member in said body acting on said flexible member to press it against said inwardly extended member, said body being formed with a slotted axial tubular post and said resilient member having a free end extended through the slot in "said post. v
