To all whom t may concern.:

lBe it known that l, WILLIAM H. H. GRIE- riN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Goree, in the county of Knox and State of Texas, have invented new and useful llinprovements in Rings for Disseminating Perfumes, &c., of which the following is a speci.- fication.

This invention relates to an improved device for disseminating chemicals, perfumes and the like, said device being in the nature of a ring which may be worn on either linger, toe, arm or any part of the body and which constitutes a container for the material to be disseminated.

A further object of the invention is to produce a ring of the character described constituting a container and having an outlet opening or openings which are normally obstructed to some extent by contact with the member on which it is worn so that the escape of the material contained will be slow and gradual.

With these and other ends in view which willreadily appear as the nature of the invention is better understood, the same consists in the improved construction and novel arrangement and combinationv of parts which will be hereinafter fully described' and particularly pointed out in the claims. In'the accompanying drawings has been illustrated a simple and preferred form of the invention, it

eing, however, understood that no limitation is vnecessarily made to the recise structural details therein exhibited, liut that changes, alterations and modifications within the scope of the claims may be resorted to when desired.

may be of tubular material of any kind so as to form within said ring a circumferential recess 16 communicating with a hopper-shaped inlet 17 having a detachable tightly fitting capf cover, screw or stopper 18 which may be ornamented in any desired way by a gem setting or the like. rlFhe inner Wall of the tubular ring is provided with a small opening or openings 1.9 which are directed toward the center of the ring so that when the latter is placed on the body or any member .thereof said opening or openings will be partly obstructed by contact with such member. The circumferential space 16, as well as the inletI hopper 17, may be filled with any desired chemical or perfume which will be permitted to escape slowly and gradually, being thus applied directly to the person of the wearer. ln this manner perfumes and various potent healing chemicals may be advantageously disseminated and applied without inconvenience.

From the foregoing description taken in connection with the drawing, it will be seen that l have produced a simple and ecient device for disseminating perfumes and chemicals which may be worn as an article of personal adornment, it being obvious that its use is not limited to that of a linger ring, but it may be suciently large to serve'as a bracelet and for other purposes.

It is to be understood, however, that where the o utlet apertures are formed, must be preferably smooth and polished it being important in the formation of the outlet apertures to avoid the formation of any fins or projections that would tend to abrade or to irritate the skin of the wearer.

Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new, is
